What Is Diabetes Protect?

It is an online interface allowing effortless management of your diabetes patients through seamless integration with all practice clinical systems.

It has been specifically designed to reduce GP workload whilst improving the delivery of the key care processes, target attainment and reduced patient complications.

Diabetes Complete allows those patients in need of improvement to be identified and a standardised care package applied. For those well controlled, remote reviews are now possible creating further appointments for those patients that are struggling.

The Diabetes Protect Pathway provides a complete clinical project solution within a centrally-led digital platform. It is specifically designed to remove work from individual practices by enabling central patient identification, direct web-based patient engagement, remote healthcare professional review capability and automated patient calls to action.

Protect is an award winning NHS Patient Support programme that automatically identifies and engages with patients through its NHS accredited patient portal to reduce primary care workload, improve patient outcomes and reduce secondary care admissions.

It uses an NHS Digital assured platform called ECLIPSE to identify which patient groups within your region are most in need of optimisation and then ensures that these patients are supported through digital and non-digital means.
